This Heritage Researchjacket is based on a Union naval officers jacket worn aboard the first ironclad warships used during the American Civil War. The jacket is made from navy Irish Linen and fully lined with English Cambric cotton. Not for the first time Gitman Brothers Vintage and Opening Ceremony have collaborated on a series of shirts for summer 2010. They present both striped and checker pattern shirts in several colorways. Some of them also come with matching fabric elbow patches, marking a nice detail. The shirts are now available from Opening Ceremony.
