Timberland seems to be the first brand to launch a "built your own" boat shoe program. Involving both men and women styles, choices include a regular style boat shoe or a chunkier, custom handsewn version. The customization process is quite intensive including a number of different colors, with both your traditional browns and earthy tones alongside more liberal blues, pinks and purples.
