This Heritage Researchjacket is based on a Union naval officers jacket worn aboard the first ironclad warships used during the American Civil War. Not for the first time Gitman Brothers Vintage and Opening Ceremony have collaborated on a series of shirts for summer 2010. They present both striped and checker pattern shirts in several colorways. Some of them also come with matching fabric elbow patches, marking a nice detail. The shirts are now available from Opening Ceremony.

Another interesting release from the iconic brand Fred Perry. The Specials have worked closely with the Fred Perry design team to produce three shirt styles that encapsulate the iconic style of The Specials. The shirts have been created around the core theme of 'black and white unite' so important to the band and their music. The shirts will be released at the end of June. This year to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of the tennis and fashion legend, the Fred Perry brand have created a new collection to commemorate the great man.
