This Heritage Researchjacket is based on a Union naval officers jacket worn aboard the first ironclad warships used during the American Civil War. Not for the first time Gitman Brothers Vintage and Opening Ceremony have collaborated on a series of shirts for summer 2010. They present both striped and checker pattern shirts in several colorways. Some of them also come with matching fabric elbow patches, marking a nice detail. The shirts are now available from Opening Ceremony.

Timberland seems to be the first brand to launch a "built your own" boat shoe program. Involving both men and women styles, choices include a regular style boat shoe or a chunkier, custom handsewn version. The customization process is quite intensive including a number of different colors, with both your traditional browns and earthy tones alongside more liberal blues, pinks and purples. The Specials have worked closely with the Fred Perry design team to produce three shirt styles that encapsulate the iconic style of The Specials. The shirts have been created around the core theme of 'black and white unite' so important to the band and their music. The shirts will be released at the end of June. Originally a court shoe from the late 70s, the Nike Killshot trainers have been reissued as the Nike Killshot Vintage. It's name comes from the racquet sports it was designed for back in 1979, but is perhaps better known these days as a lightweight leisure shoe.This re-issue has been given the Nike Vintage treatment, with distressed effect materials and yellowed soles.
